It is the largest single service the city provides through the GRF budget, using 33% of general taxpayer revenues. The Cleveland PD has a budget of hundreds of millions.

3. Orland Park Mayor Keith Pekau has been speaking out about the dangers of the SAFE-T Act, which will go into effect on January 1, 2023. Mayor Pekau is calling for the repeal of the SAFE-T Act, saying it prioritizes criminals over the safety of citizens and law enforcement officers. “They deserve better,” says Pekau.

4. While not exactly like the movie… there are some similarities… and a move towards more lawlessness and less accountability for crime.
