IITM:  Now that they are shutting down the ‘boosters’ at least in some parts due to lack of public interest… the boosters represent the ‘software updates’ for homo borg genesis… which may now compose up to 50% of humanity. 

That means that around 50% of humanity has become a new programmable by A.I., species.
