Line, countless strands tightly interwoven, aligned along the same path. So strong are they when combined: we use them to lift the heaviest of loads; erect the greatest of edifices, moor the mightiest of ships, and secure together the most valuable of treasures. And it is that glorious use which brings us here today, for today we shall use line to secure together these two blessed hearts that beat with the Blood Royal. Amethyst…. This represents the Sang Rael: the Blood Royal that you share; that courses mightily through your veins. Gold….. This represents the value; strength and malleability of your blessed union, and your most noble and shared cause. White…… This represents the Glory of Almighty God, and His Divine Spirit that gives holy divinity to this most blessed and sacred union. Lines, though strong, with the passage of time, can become brittle, causing them to fray, burn or ultimately break, so it is forever the duty of those who hold the lines to lovingly and attentively condition them so that they may remain eternally tensile. But when segments are brought together to form one great and powerful line, it is a mighty knot that they tie together that unites them forever. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
