Natural ways to fight back scar marks

Scars can happen anytime. Sometimes dep acne can leave a scar mark and sometimes, due to some surgical operations there can be scar marks left on the skin. When scars happen one must treat them so that they never become deep and dark.

One can use no scars skin soap on a regular basis in order to remove bodily scars. But sometimes one can also put natural ingredients to use so that they can easily lighten the visible scar marks. Here are some ways to deal with it:

Cucumber

Cucumbers are said to have a lot of anti inflammatory effects because it has a thing called cucurbitacins in it. It also has a lot of anti oxidants in it. Hence application of cucumber on acne scars can minimize the inflammation and redness. One can use a cucumber mask or a cucumber lotion on the affected area to get the best results. One can take a peeled cucumber and a table spoon of Greek yogurt and then puree the cucumber to mix it with the yogurt. Then one can apply that mixture on the scarred area and leave it for at least 15 minutes before washing it away with plain water.

Frankincense Oil

This is a kind of essential oil which has a lot of anti inflammatory properties. This can help in treating the dry skin. It can also be used in order to prevent the signs of ageing. One can apply this oil on scars and stretch marks to get best results.

Rosehip Seed Oil

One can mix frankincense oil with another scar fighting oil which is called rosehip seed oil and this can work greatly on scars. This oil is said to be high in anti oxidants and essential fatty acids which can heal the damages and dehydrated skin. This is a kind of a dry oil which can get easily soaked in skin and does not even lead any greasy residues.

Apple Cider Vinegar

ACV is a great way to fight scar marks. One can dilute it by mixing a part of ACV with 4 parts of water or more (depending on the sensitivity of the skin) and dab the mixture on the affected area with a cotton ball. If one has oily skin, this can work as a wonder on acne scars because it has astringent in it and they have a proper anti bacterial effect on the scars.

Aloe Vera

This can work as wonder when it comes to ankle scarring. Apart from reducing or lighting the scar marks one can also use it in order to reduce swelling on the skin, inflammation and redness.

Lemon Juice

Lemon juice can be used as a great treatment for scars. They have natural bleaching agent in it and so it can fade any kind of dark discoloration on the skin. One can also use an aloe vera and lemon face pack to combat scar issues.
