The migration of people to their own countries due to Covid-19…..

(1) Parallels the census when Jesus was born

The UN is putting foreign forces in each country to fulfill Satan’s agenda of globalization and one world. But God is making each country people to go back to their own lands.

Luke chapter 2 correlates the date of the nativity of Jesus to the census of Quirinius: In those days a decree went out from Emperor Augustus that all the world should be registered. Joseph and Mary’s trip to Bethlehem is undertaken in order to satisfy an imperial command that all individuals return to their ancestral towns “that all the world should be taxed.” Since Mary was pregnant with Jesus at the time the command was carried out, this explains why Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem and not in the town where his parents lived

At this time of lock down due to Covid-19, nationals of each country are returning to their ancestral lands from various countries. Could this exodus birth the 144,000, 12,000 from each tribe? I see some parallels here. It is reasonable that the 12,000 selected from each tribe should be living in their tribe to take the gospel to their own tribes people during the loud cry, and not live somewhere else in another tribe.

(2) Parallels the second exodus of Jews to Jerusalem after 70 years of captivity in Babylon

The Jews returned to Jerusalem in three stages. The first group was led by Zerubbabel. The enemies weakend their hands and made their work stop. The second exodus happened under Ezra and the third under Nehemiah. Each group revived and strengthened the work. It brought repentance, resistence and revival.

A Lesson for the Church Today

It is possible that some Ezras and Nehemiahs today will lead an exodus to their own countries to participate in the loud cry of the Third angel so that God’s children are fully restored. Malachi 3:17 says: “And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.”

Soon, the number of God’s people will be made up. If you wish to be in that number, you need to be a part of the exodus. Only a remnant participated in the exodus. The majority remained in Babylon to live in ease. “The great work of the gospel is not to close with less manifestation of the power of God than marked its opening. The prophecies which were fulfilled in the outpouring of the former rain at the opening of the gospel, are again to be fulfilled in the latter rain at its close,” said EGW.

Some of those who will join the exodus may be counted among the 144,000. Moses chose to suffer affliction with his people than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season in Egypt. The searcher of our hearts is searching to see whether our motive is to suffer persecution with our people, or to enjoy pleasures of sin for a season. Choose you this day whom you will serve!
