Ultimate Survival Trap for Providing Meat - The Reverse Figure Four Deadfall Trap

yes I went out on limb and said it, “Ultimate,” why would I say that, well because to me this is the ultimate low energy survival trap to provide edible meat, and I’m talking small game, for two reasons:

1)you can easily find the neccessary materials needed to make as many of these traps as you want (anywhere on the habitable parts of the planet)

2)the only tool you would want to have to make them is your knife!  (if you find yourself without a knife- maybe you fell out of an airplane and survived :-S, you could use pretty much any metal you found on the ground, such as a bottle cap, an aluminum can, etc.)

Now if you fall out of airplane and survive, you’re already one tough sum-buck, but you better be really crafty to figure out how you’re going to start a fire to cook the meat you catch in the trap.  My advice, don’t fly, at this point in time you’re forced to sacrifice your 4th Amendment Constitutional Right against illegal search and seizure now to do so anyways, to perverts who like to label themselves as TSA…
