TI Nightmare In 'Silenced: The War On Whistleblowers' Only Tip Of Iceberg

Organized criminal persecution that the United States government is subjecting thousands of Americans to endure is partially exposed in Robert Greenwald’s new documentary by Oscar nominee James Spione making news this weekend, SILENCED, The War on Whistleblowers. This war, covertly waged against Americans of highest ethical standards for decades, has become more overt in terms of high profile targets. The new widely acclaimed film Silenced, as shocking and important as it is, shows only the tip of the iceberg of the covert war, complete with military-grade weapons assaulting thousands of innocent Targeted Individuals daily.

Taking the very best

Daniel Ellsberg, Franz Gayl and Seymour Hersh are among the list of stars, America’s best in the new film Silenced, directed by Hollywood’s humanitarian filmmaker Robert Greenwald. It’s no surprise the film comes via Greenwald. Working with a team of passionate volunteers and others from his humble studio in Culver City, California, Greenwald’s been exposing United States crimes against innocent people for years. The difference now is that he’s showing how the United States government is attacking it’s own good people, rather than those in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan or other places the US has illegally warred against.

Former United States Marine Corps criminal investigator, Secret Service and FBI Intelligence contractor, recognized expert with assets in the field of Technical Surveillance and Counter Measures (TSCM), now private investigator William Taylor has served dozens of Targeted Individuals, including high profile people. Taylor told Deborah Dupré when investigating secretly forced brain implanted Targeted Individual James Walbert, “Only the best Americans are being targeted.” This is highlighted throughout SILENCED, that follows three well-known targeted individuals.

Saturday, CBC’s The Passionate Eye reported, “Exploring the unique courage and character it takes to challenge unethical behavior from within the American national security establishment, SILENCED: The War on Whistleblowers offers a provocative critique of systemic failures of the U.S. government and its draconian over-reactions.”

Hundreds of emails and testimonies sent to Dupré by lesser known targets being persecuted show it is only their unique courage and character keeping them alive. They are not only persecuted in their communities by government paid operatives, including some neighbors, but also, they are stalked 24/7, in itself torturous. They are watched with “through-the-wall” technology in what was once the privacy of their homes. They are also assaulted with covert military-grade weapons, unmentioned in SILENCED.

“The film, through its vivid characters, challenges the national narrative (some would say myth),” CBC says, adding that the film “ultimately asks what the chilling ordeals endured by those who question official policy mean for the future of America.”

This war on America’s best, whistle-blowers of corruption and others, has been waged for decades. Take the case of whistle-blower Edgar Gillham, one that began over 25 years ago. It’s among many on Brian Martin’s Suppression of dissent website.

Today, to prevent unwanted intrusions in his bedroom at night while he sleeps, TI Gilham, 79, has to keep his bedroom door locked. Like many TIs, Gilham knows the terror of having strangers with ill intent in his bedroom at night. Many targets wonder how perpetrators can enter any home and bedroom as they sleep without any problem whatsoever.

“I have  the answer,” Gilham told Dupré in an email this weekend. “[W]e let them in.”

How does Gilham know this? He set up a camcorder one night and filmed his wife seemingly sleep walking, he said.

“She methodically went to each door and opened it,” he explained. “When I played back the video I could hear in muffled voice ‘get up and let me in’. Apparently she was responding to post-hypnotic suggestion.”

Others say the suggestions are simply government funded voice-to-skull or synthetic telepathy technology.

Whether through post-hypnotic suggestion or synthetic telepathy, TIs, “America’s best,” are suffering 24/7, never knowing what will hit them next, never receiving local or national advocacy or defense from human rights groups. They are left as sitting ducks, easy prey for covert operatives to taunt or eventually kill, as a cat with a captured mouse.

“SILENCED: The War on Whistleblowers explores how the extraordinary campaigns of intimidation and punishment carried out by government authorities wreak havoc on the personal lives of those who decide to speak out about wrongdoing,” CBC reports.

Gillham said, “I turned 4 DVDs over to adult protection and perps have responded by changing their tactics to  prevent my filming them in the same way but the harassment and home break-in’s continue today.

“Now, at age 79, I must keep the bedroom door locked and do not give her the key. She still gets up during the night and tries to open the bedroom door, mumbling something often unintelligible about, ‘We are locked in.’”
 

TIs are continually trying to devise new ways to counter the assaults.

“I must find new ways to detect their actions each time I notify the authorities,” Gillham said. “Obviously perps have a way of obtaining this information and adjusting to compensate.”

As the reader watches SILENCED, remember, as horrendous as it is, it is only the tip of the iceberg, a covert program of lethal persecution, wrecking lives in communities straight across America. Virtually all the TIs  are mobbed out of the workplace, their lives ruined, as Gillham details, including:

I had an excellent work record and was among the leaders in the field of advanced design. I assumed my reputation would insulate me from reprisals; it did not. I was not fired immediately. Instead, my supervisor began “setting me up” by totally false rumors and false accusations. I saw it happening and decided it was in my best interest to leave Teledyne and find employment elsewhere. No matter where I went, the rumors soon caught up to me and eventually the harassment was just too much for me to handle. It wasn’t until years later that I began hearing rumors of the accusations leveled against me. I was never able to ascertain the exact charges but it did seem to have sexual implications. I have now been unemployed for near 15 years, having sent out nearly 2000 job applications without any serious responses.

“I would have not have believed it possible for people to be punished for following their consciences had it not happened to me,” Gillham wrote in 1999. “We tend to think on terms of what we see on TV or read in books: everything comes out right by the end of the program/book, the “bad guys” are always brought to justice and the ‘good guys’ get the girl/reward/honor/glory. In real life this doesn’t always happen, and that is a difficult lesson to learn because it violates our most basic beliefs.”
