(N.Morgan) In a disturbing report being passed around by Fox News and the Washington Post, claims that Freddie Gray’s injuries were self inflicted.
The question is, will this calm the riots down, or only inflame the already volatile situation as protests spread around the country?

A prisoner sharing a police transport van with Freddie Gray told investigators that he could hear Gray “banging against the walls” of the vehicle and believed that he “was intentionally trying to injure himself,” according to an investigative document obtained by The Washington Post.
The prisoner, who is currently in jail, was separated from Gray by a metal partition and could not see him.
His statement is contained in an application for a search warrant, which is sealed by the court.
The Post was given the document under the condition that the prisoner not be named because the person who provided it feared for the inmate’s safety.
The document, written by a Baltimore police investigator, offers the first glimpse of what might have happened inside the van.
It is not clear whether any additional evidence backs up the prisoner’s version.
Gray was found unconscious in the wagon when it arrived at a police station on April 12.
The 25-year-old had suffered a spinal injury and died a week later, touching off waves of protests across Baltimore, capped by a riot Monday in which hundreds of angry residents torched buildings, looted stores and pelted police officers with rocks.

Police have said they do not know whether Gray was injured during the arrest or during his 30-minute ride in the van.
The account by the prisoner contained in the affidavit is just one piece of an ongoing investigation by local police and the U.S. Justice Department.
This report seems rather odd in light of when it was first reported about Freddie’s death, the Balitmore Sun reported:
Spinal injuries such as those that led to Freddie Gray’s death while in police custody require “significant force” akin to the impact from a car accident and can fatally impair the body’s ability to regulate blood flow and breathing, according to medical experts.
Deputy Commissioner Jerry Rodriguez said Monday that the 25-year-old Gray died of “a very tragic injury to his spinal cord,” the bundle of nerves that carries messages between the brain and the rest of the body.
Gray died Sunday, one week after his arrest in West Baltimore.
Details about Gray’s injury and what caused it remain unknown.
Police did not release results of an autopsy conducted Monday.
The question then becomes, is this another ploy to distract the masses from what really that day in Baltimore, when Freddie Gray was accosted by police?

I am not sure which is worse.
If the WAPO story isn’t true it may mean that members of the Baltimore police force dishonored their badges and caused harm to a prisoner.
If the WAPO story turns out to be true it may end up causing more violence.
The minority community will have a hard time accepting a self inflicted injury, the same way they still don’t accept the grand jury results in the Michael Brown case.
When you add the fact that President Obama had for all intents and purposes already convicted the Baltimore police, whatever the truth is, it will be a difficult truth to swallow.

Excellent article! Integration never worked and it never will. Integration is a babylonian tool designed to produce a one world order of genetically diverse people. In answer to your question & according to one MSM channel … Yes, this man had recently undergone spinal surgery.
Is there any truth to the information that Freddie had had a spinal cord including neck area injury from a previous car accident, an injury that had needed to be fused more than one time, with the fusion failing and needing to be repeated? I ask because I had six vertebrae fused in 2002 and I spent two weeks in the hospital after the surgery and another two weeks in a rehabilitation center before I was able to go home. I was then in significant pain for another few weeks thereafter. So if it’s true that Freddie had had another spinal/neck fusion one week and a half prior to his arrest for selling drugs, and instead of being home recovering, he was out selling drugs, then I have absolutely no sympathy for him. I’m no racist. My parents were hippies during the 1960′s and were active in the Civil Rights movement. I’m judging Freddie for his possible irresponsible behavior not for the color of his skin.
If you want to know the truth…why are you asking for gossip off of a gossip column? Wait for the truth to come out in the official investigation.
And if he was out selling drugs…..why didn’t they find drugs on him?

Here’s the fact as we know them, a young man was decapitated somehow between being arrested in Gilmor Homes and the police station.
The police now have this nameless prisoner coming forward stating Freddie was hurting himself.
Whether someone is a criminal or not, they have rights.
Frankly, Freddie was only a small time wanna be dealer who failed at it miserably, hence the long record.

First of all….he may not have been convicted or guilty of all the charges he was accused of in the past.
And……for the convictions….he must have already PAID his debt to society or he would not have been out on the street…..therefore you CANNOT hold him accountable for those crimes again…..here…..and belittle his death at the hands of rough cops.
