Get ready folks, it’s coming! Yes, winter is about to replace the mild and wet weather experienced by most of the UK lately, and its set to be a wild one!

The Met Office has placed the UK on HIGH ALERT as the winter weather looks set to take hold over the next 72 hours, with predictions that the temperature could dip as low as -10c! On top of the cold temperatures we are to expect heavy snow, torrential rain, high winds & hail.

The Express reports….

Freezing Britain on SEVERE alert as HEAVY SNOW and SLEET to hit the south within 72 HOURS BRITAIN is on severe weather alert with HEAVY SNOW, savage storms, hail and sub-zero temperatures expected within the next 72 hours.

Government officials have issued a raft of health alerts ahead of a brutal snowbomb poised unleash chaos on Tuesday.

Forecasters say this week will bring the worst winter spell and snow since the whiteout of 2010/11 which saw severe weather grind the country to a halt.

Long-range models suggest Britain could be facing one of the worst winter whiteouts of the last century rivalling the 1962/63 and 1946/47 big freezes.

Thermometers are poised to plunge to -10C in parts with the entire country braced for sleet, snow and torrential hail storms.

The Met Office has issued a level-2 cold weather alert over the next four days as freezing Polar gales flood in from the Arctic.

Ok, so we can see its going to be a cold one, but lets not get crazy here! Its January, and the last time I checked im pretty sure that this would put us in something that used to be called, wait for it….. WINTER!

When I was growing up in the Highlands of Scotland, these “polar vortex’s” & “snowbombs” were simply called a bad winter! Snow to hit the UK is nothing new, let me assure you all of that!

However, that being said, the weather patterns are changing, and that is something we are going to have to get used to. The changing weather is natural, and is in no way the result of us humans going about our daily lives, no matter what spin Al Gore puts on it!

Our weather and climate are cyclical, and this can be seen over the ages when we look at the ice core records.

Something that will be having an artificial effect is the Geo-engineering that the planet has endured for sometime now. We have all witnessed the chemtrails that are sprayed in the skies daily, and at some point something has to give.

Some are saying its HAARP & chemtrails to blame for the arctic blast that is inbound, but I take a broader look at it than that. Sometimes it’s almost as if its too easy to blame HAARP, and I wonder if the Powers-That-Shouldnt-Be are quite happy for people to point the finger to somewhere that is now outdated and more of a tourist attraction for conspiracy theorists?

For starters, HAARP is now old technology, with the antenna array in Alaska being handed back to the civilian sector now that DARPA and the US Air Force/Navy are finished with their research there.

HAARP is one of many ionospheric heaters around the planet, all of which play a part in geo-engineering. EISCAT is in Norway, and one would think due to its geographical position in relation to the UK, that this would be a more likely site to be playing games with weather over the UK/Europe.

One of the major contributing factors to the erratic and changing weather cycles around the planet is the desalinization of the worlds oceans, which in turn leads to a slowing down of the ocean currents that play a critical part in the world’s weather.

The Jet Stream, a warm current of air and water, is the main driver in the UK weather. Right now, it appears to have slipped south, and this is what is letting the cold air from the arctic and Siberia feed the “snowbomb” that approaches the UK right now.

The Jet Stream works in tandem with the Gulf Stream, a warm current of water that is driven out of the Gulf of Mexico by strong whirlpools and across the Atlantic to the west coast of Ireland/UK. This is why, normally, the UK doesnt experience winters on a par with Moscow despite the fact we are at the same longitudinal distance from the North Pole!

The jet stream/gulf stream are a part of something called the Thermohaline Circulation system.

This is basically the major driver behind the world’s weather systems, and should any part of it alter, or stop, then this will have noticable effects around the world, something we are arguably already seeing with tornadoes in Texas and mild weather on the US east coast for Christmas!

Chemtrails, HAARP, the changing state of our own star, the new areas of space we are flying through, desalinization or whatever else you want to blame, take your pick – could be all of the above, or none! Only thing we know for sure is that everything changes, and that includes the weather and climate!

Whatever the cause, one thing I would bet my wages on is that its nothing to do with “man-made” climate change! That being said, we can be sure that the main stream will do their level best to convince us otherwise and offer up carbon taxes and Agenda 21 as our saviour from the weather.

If you do live in a part of the UK that is affected by the snow, keep in mind those around you that may be less able to cope in the conditions. We must help each other, for if anything can be taken from the recent floods, it’s that the Government aint the ones to be waiting on in times in crisis!
