Did This CNN Employee Just Trigger and Expose Your 'Snow Flakiness'?

If you are Donald Trump, you have on your list of things to do for the next four years, this entry.  Send Kathy Griffin a dozen roses, a box of chocolate and a sincere thank you note… every single day for the next four years.  It seems that when leftists decide to go full tilt retard, they do him a HUGE favor by bolstering Donald’s fan base even more and reminding the world exactly why so many have turned from the ranks of leftist retardation.

In a day and age when Leftist got a rodeo clown fired for wearing an Obama mask, or pull sponsorship from Fox’s conservative host Sean Hannity for taking a crack at investigative journalism as he attempted to ask questions about the questionable murder of Seth Rich, infrequently funny Comedian, writer and CNN employee Kathy Griffin (who, has shown in the past that she herself has a sensitivity to violence) has created one of those incredibly hypocritical memorable moments, that seems to tell the world, without words, just how stupid, desperate and two-faced a person can actually be. Taking a violent page out of the ISIS playbook, she thought it would be a good idea to have a photographer, Tyler Shields, take a picture of her while she posed with what looked like the fake severed, bleeding head of the 45th banker-owned, individual rights trampling figurehead of the United States.

And she was able to accomplish something only Pepsi and Audi have recently been able to do with their media blunders, bring people together to unite against…well…blatant stupidity.  

She and her violent imagery managed to enrage people on the right, people on the left, people in the middle and people you didn’t think would have the conscience to be enraged:

People like the daughter of the killer/rapist team of Clinton and Clinton. Chelsea Clinton tweeted: “This is vile and wrong. It is never funny to joke about killing a president.”

Griffin’s move was so absent-minded and disgusting that even former CIA intern and current CNN personality, Anderson Cooper, condemned her actions. “For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in. It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate.”

Not that Cooper is any stranger to disgusting, completely inappropriate behavior himself.

Some on the conservative side are demanding an investigation into the possible crime of threatening a president.  Katie Pavlich cc’d the Secret Service in a tweet about Griffin. A Breitbart writer suggested the stupid stunt was “likely a crime.”

But are the idiotic expressions of this product of a desperate photoshoot, a criminal act?  

It’s true that threatening the president or any human being is a crime. But there’s a difference between a true threat—a statement likely to be interpreted as a real, actual threat to harm the president—and hyperbole, satire, and humor…or an attempt at humor. South Park character Mr. Garrison murdered Donald Trump (the president of Canada) in season 19 of the show, but this was clearly not a criminal threat of violence. HBO’s Game of Thrones had the head of a George W. Bush dummy hanging on a pole, but again, this is not direct and unambiguous enough to count as some kind of call to violence against the supposed leader of the free world.

And…if you wanna be consistent about individual liberties… Griffin’s photo shoot clearly falls under protected speech. She would have had to actually threaten to kill the president, or call on other people to kill the president, in order for it to count as a legitimated crime.

So the stunt wasn’t criminal. It was tasteless, it was stupid.  It was disgusting and all are welcome to condemn a now hypocritically apologetic Griffin (yeah like anybody believes ya Kathy)…but if you take up a pitchfork here, you may look a little foolish the next time you complain about political correctness run amok, or easily offended millennials, or safe spaces or leftists getting triggered. If you care more about Trump’s feelings than his very bad anti-freedom policies, or even your own right to freely express your own thoughts, maybe YOU are the snowflake.
