Trump Derangement Syndrome afflicts AZ’s embarrassing Republicrat

Jeff Flake, unable to run for reelection due to staggeringly low polling numbers among his home state Republicans, has instead set his sights on becoming Arizona’s embarrassment. He began his descent with a 140-page pamphlet masquerading as a book, sticky-fingering the title directly from that of Barry Goldwater’s 1960 iconic book, ‘Conscience of a Conservative,’ which described the fundamentals of conservatism. Though Flake pilfered the title, he never actually comprehended conservatism.  He knew the word started with the letter “C” and was multi-syllabic, but confused ‘conservatism’ with ‘contrariness.‘

Showboating is the not too bright Flake’s stock in trade.  Emboldened by the attention he’s generated, McCain’s doppelganger Jeff Flake plows ahead. The left-wing networks — notably ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN and their ilk, are ready repositories for his hateful spews directed at President Donald Trump. Having an “R” after his name, no matter how misplaced the designation is, makes him a valuable tool in their ongoing scheme to denigrate and destabilize the president.

Flake is noted for flashing his inappropriately placed grin, ever mindful of giving his capped teeth a workout. His bleach-streaked hair is receding, but stiffly coiffed. Lies flow out of his mouth with the same ease as a spewing, fiery, lava flow.

His latest assault follows President Trump’s comments at a joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Flake took to the senate floor declaring Trump’s remarks verged on treason. “The president let down the free world by giving aid and comfort to an enemy of democracy,” he said. “In so doing, he dimmed the light of freedom ever so slightly in our own country.” Though not explicitly calling the president a traitor, his intent was clear, since Article III, Sec. 3 of the U.S. Constitution says treason consists of giving “aid and comfort” to America’s enemies.’

Was it traitorous when Flake accompanied then-President Barack Obama to grovel at the feet of Raul Castro, Cuba’s communist dictator?

Flake, whose most significant job before feeding at the public trough was in the 1990s when he and his wife lived in the African nation of Namibia, as he worked as a registered foreign agent, opening D.C. doors for Rossing Uranium, a mining company that is among the world’s largest suppliers of nuclear fuel —- and partially owned by Iran. National Journal’s exposé during his initial congressional campaign stated, “Flake’s little-known time in the influence industry stands in contrast to his carefully cultivated image as a Washington outsider.”

Now with his congressional career over, he devotes his time to joining with the Trump-hating Democrats. The latest Rasmussen polling shows Congress holds a 15% approval rating. President Trump polls at 44%, with 31% strongly approving of his performance.

Those crickets you hear chirping? That’s the sound emanating from AZ GOP chairman Jonathan Lines, refusing once again to rein in the party’s embarrassment. Flake’s despicable antics are particularly damaging to Republican candidates during the upcoming elections. They also insult Republican voters —  nationwide.
