Stay In A Pod Instead Of A Motel, BnB, Hostel Or Hotel… It Has It’s Perks!!

Wow… some dynamic paradigm shifts in the concept of temporary accomodations… with pods… a concept, which is so sensible and practical… and to also make travel more exciting and affordable… and omg… the concerts… you can enjoy a concert or open mic nite, from your bed, with friends around…. too cool! 

Not everybody wants to stay in a hotel when they travel, nor can everyone afford it. The concept of the cold expensive cookie cutter hotel experience has it’s purpose, but surely humanity wants to have shared experiences that inspire, and bring people together in positive ways too. 

… the young intelligent lady in the video below, had mentioned… the future is access, not ownership… and although not a concept directly related to pods or hotels… it resonated as a strong truth.  I’m kinda tired of a world where everybody needs to own everything… it is tiring, it is boring, it is a fear-based, and to say a human can own a part of mother earth, is basically, unevolved.   You may or may not see yourself staying in a pod or to live 24 people in one room… but surely you can appreciate that with a 93% occupancy rate… it is a rate that most hotel managers would drool over… and the rate suggest that people enjoy the experience… are we seeing the end of the franchise version of planet earth? Is planet earth already in a pod revolution? It sure seems so!  It is fascinating to see how people take a concept that most of humanity takes for granted, and then tweaks the concept, and makes it highly successful… cheers to all you visionaries! 

The video above is from podsharing in Los Angeles… and it reminded me of the pod hotels of Japan, which have a lower level of sociablity built into the experience… but help to keep costs down, prices down, and life more simple for everyone, all things considered.
