If you’re a YouTube junky like I am, you may have noticed that the infamous video platform was down for a while the other night. As of yet, YouTube has not put out an official explanation as to why this occurred, the rumors are huge this time.

The first rumor to come up is that involving Saudi Arabia, which actually isn’t as far-fetched as what I’ll mention later! Why isn’t it far-fetched? Well, because years ago Pakistan caused a YouTube outage for two-thirds of the world! This wasn’t on purpose though.

An Internet expert explained that Sunday’s problems arose when a Pakistani telecommunications company accidentally identified itself to Internet computers as the world’s fastest route to YouTube. But instead of serving up videos of skateboarding dogs, it sent the traffic into oblivion.

So why are we blaming Saudi Arabia? This event happened around the time that there was talk of Sanctions being imposed if Jamal Khashoggi was killed by Saudis! Which in fact, he was cut to pieces in Saudi Arabia, that investigation is still going on. So this theory I’ve seen in one place, though I haven’t done a lot of digging as I like to avoid speculation and theories that have no real evidence. BUT, along with YouTube, there were other major sites experiencing outages. HAL Turner Radio Show reported that they had an “inside source” that told them there was a huge IP-fragmentation attack taking place across the globe during the time YouTube was down and provided an image from Digital Attack Map that shows that this was originating from Saudi Arabia!!

According to Digital Attack Map, much of the trouble worldwide SEEMS to be emanating from . . . Saudi Arabia!

Could it be the tiny kingdom doesn’t like the world finding out their government murdered a Journalist and cut him to pieces while he was still alive? (Story Here) Could this be an actual act of military sabotage against the global Internet to shut down the flow of information the Saudis don’t like?

There were some banks also being affected by this, they reported. Now, on to the weirder side of these theories. I first heard this from Secureteam10, so most likely, a lot of people are leaving the room laughing already, but, supposedly, this was at the demand of the US Government. Before this happened, there were reports of a very well dressed man on video, who stated that something was about to hit the moon, and that video went viral, then the outage occurred and the video was lost. MrBB33 was also asked if he posted this video which he did not. Now I find that as ridiculous as shutting down a handful of observatories to hide things around the sun while others still had access to their observatories, but what do I know. Here’s a handful of things the Imperial Regent Angelus Domini posted in the VK Congregation.

This is supposedly a video of the moon getting hit, but it looks very fake to me. I’m not an expert, however.

I won’t back either of these theories. I don’t want to be caught being the fool backing statements from channels and news sources whose credibility is questionable. Until the Imperial Regent makes an official statement, or the government comes out and says that it was an attack from Saudi Arabia, I won’t take a side on the matter, but what do you think?
