How many thought which are not our own have we allowed to do likewise? How many thoughts has the devil projected to you that you somehow accepted and then realised later had become poisonous? Thoughts can become spiritually, emotionally and physically dangerous to you when you start entertaining them. All those poisonous thoughts that come as a feeling or impression of fear, stress and anxiety, are very much like the Trojan warriors who open the gates for you to be invaded by spirits of such things like self-hatred, self-condemnation, unforgiveness, bitterness, self-rejection, jealousy and envy, anger, rage, all the way up to murder with the tongue or literal acts of murder. 

Because your body can only be secreting chemicals and hormones in response to what you are thinking. All those spiritual attacks come to invade you because the Devil understands how they are counterproductive to your health and peace. Ungodly thoughts cause a breakdown by allowing sickness and diseases to come in and attached themselves to you.

Research has now proven how your brain is converting all those thoughts into a physical reaction that is setting up the development of diseases in your body. The Lord tells us in our Holy Guide Book to the Supernatural in places like 3 John 2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

Speaking from a biblical perspective, your soul consists of your mind, will and emotions. There is also an area in your brain where your free will resides, because the Lord designed you with the ability to choose and make decisions. You are able choose whether to meditate on a thought or to totally disregard it.

We read in 2 Corinthians 10:5,”Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

What you think about the most grows the most, with 30.000 to 70.000 thoughts a day we must learn to practise healthy thinking by having all thoughts present a passport before the Lord Jesus/Yeshua!

I would also tell you that your free will is physically part of your mind and your emotions, they are simply a product of your thought life. If your thoughts are good, healthy, positive and Godly, so shall be your emotions, and your body will obey and you shall stay in homeostasis. If your thought life entertains unclean spirits so you are thinking poisonous, negative and ungodly sinful things, what do you think your body shall begin to do? It can only follow the orders you give it. My point here is that your will and emotions are part of your mind. So you can actually use the word mind and soul interchangeably because they really mean the same thing.

Medical research is proving the Holy Scriptures in that whatever is going on in your thought life (your mind), your brain will convert into a physical reaction. 
As we can understand now from this verse in 3 John 2, Your life and health is an expression of your thoughts. Think about that!
