The gifts of the Holy Spirit Baptism work quite well with or without anointing oil. We read in 2 Timothy 1:6,”Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.” When we pray in our prayer language, we stir up the other gifts of the Holy Spirit which are within us to be used of the Lord as He decides. Scientific research also shows we are releasing wonderful chemical molecules into our own body as we connect with the Lord on this level. Praying in the Holy Ghost also causes interesting positive activity that begins to take place in our brain and thought life. As we engage in our heavenly language, your brain releases chemical secretions that are directed into boosting your own immune system. This promotes healing within our bodies as well as numerous other things the Lord orchestrates whilst we commune with Him this way. For example, we are speaking from our spirits in agreement with Holy Spirit and saying what He wants us to say through us, thus we are prophesying good things to happen now and in our future. We read in Romans 8:26,”Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”
