That’s a BIG one. I live in Jersey and fished up and down the coast, Cape May, Wildwood, Point Pleasant, Beach Haven, Belmar, but never saw anything like that. He’s right, that’s a once in a lifetime encounter.

Numbers of sharks around the world are declining due to shark fining, fishing methods like long lining, the pollution of the world’s oceans and human ignorance. Feeding a shark plastic is not helpful!!! Yes you were very lucky to get to experience this large majestic predator….but every interaction with wildlife comes with certain responsibilities.
