His insurance company paid the claim. Probably because he’d already been through enough.

2. A New Kind of Sanding

While we’re on the subject of cows, have you ever noticed how rough their tongues are? One couple on vacation in Southern France found out the hard way.

A herd of cows apparently thought their car was the newest flavor in lollipops. They licked all the paint clean off the vehicle!

3. Monkeying Around

Did you ever leave a tooth under your pillow so the tooth fairy would bring you money? One traveler decided to take it to the extreme.

He lost his dentures overboard while vomiting from a cruise ship during his vacation. After making a claim to the tooth fairy, er, his travel insurance company, he was able to recoup the loss.

5. The Mental Toll of Burgling

The next time you head out on vacation, you may want to leave some food and water for any potential burglars. Why? Because if they get locked in your garage and have to survive on dog food for a week they can sue you for mental anguish.

As crazy as it sounds, a burglar won this claim. He scored a million dollars off that week of agony.

6. Up in Flames

A romantic wedding by the sea in Italy sounds like the perfect dream, doesn’t it? For one couple, it didn’t turn out quite the way they expected.

During the reception, the bride got a little too close to the barbecue and the material quickly caught fire. To save the day her husband grabbed her and threw her in the sea. They both escaped unharmed and the insurance company paid 50% of the damages.
