2. Being John Malkovich (1999)

This strange movie is better known than most that are described as some of the weirdest movies out there.

The main character, Craig, goes through a small door that is hidden behind a filing cabinet in his office – and ends up in the mind of the famous actor John Malkovich. After this trip, he finds himself in a ditch on the Jersey Turnpike.

As the movie goes on, Craig makes a discovery that gives him power over Malkovich. This is a must see!

3. The Witness (2015)

When a woman is murdered in New York in 1964, the 38 witnesses did absolutely nothing and then kept quiet about it. This is all uncovered 50 years later in an emotional film that will make you question everything.

4. Alice (1988)

Based on Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, Alice has been described as bizarre, dark, and disturbing. The movie is a weird combination of live action and stop motion animation.

It’s difficult to describe it without giving away too many details. You just have to experience it yourself.

5. Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog (2008)

If you love Neil Patrick Harris (and who doesn’t?), you’ll want to check out this weird film. The actor plays an aspiring supervillain, Dr. Horrible, who falls in love with the ‘good girl’ in this musical/comedy/drama.

It’s a very silly movie with a crazy premise, but it’s weird and wonderful at the same time. Give it a go!
