Even with sadness, loss, and troubles, I am still truly blessed.

I give thanks for my wonderful family and friends and for good health for myself and those I love.

I’m thankful for readers who love my books and for being able to write for a living.

I give thanks for so many things big and small. My beloved grandfather who lived to be 100 had a blessing he would say before every meal. I’d like to share that with you today.

Papa’s Blessing

Bless us, oh Lord, for these—thy gifts of food and comfort.

Go with us throughout the day and bless and protect us, each and everyone.

Forgive us of our sins. This we ask in Jesus’s name. ~ Amen
