Having a visible call-to-action is important to you as the owner and to your users.
You want your users to know what they have to do when they visit your site whether it’s to sign-up for an email newsletter or make a purchase. Without a CTA, users are going to find difficulty navigating through your site by trying to find what they need.
3. Contact Information
Providing contact information gives you an opportunity to build trust with your users.
Creating an effective landing page is all about creating trust and you don’t instill confidence if there is no information leading to a phone number or email address.
Aside from building trust, it can also help you increase revenue by answering questions that users have about your products or services. If you address their concerns, they’re more likely going to make a purchase. If you’re unsure about where to place it, consider the header and/or the footer as it is always visible when users are navigating through your site.
4. Mobile-Friendly
Optimizing your website for mobile is crucial for an effective website.
52 percent of the time, users are going to view your site through a mobile phone. This means your images and content should be just as organized as it would be on a desktop. A great example to look at is Mercedes-Benz’s website, the mobile and desktop designs are optimized while also containing the same amount of information. If mobile users come across your webpage to find that the loading time is excessive and difficult to navigate, they’re going to click out. Avoid this from happening by having a simplified design and only including information they’re looking for.
5. Search Engine Optimization
Once you’ve come to the point where your webpage design is complete, you’re going to want to drive traffic.
The best way to do this is prioritizing SEO. This is going to increase the quantity and quality of traffic coming to your site. This will help your website become visible and searchable which will give users a better experience.
