How much should you expect to pay for a leaking pipe, a blocked sink, a faulty hot water heater or for every other plumbing problem? These household woes are not only an inconvenience but also an extra expense. It’s frustrating that, before you can get them sorted, you have to go through a vetting process to find reliable trades people and then do a price comparison to ensure you’re not getting ripped off. All that takes time, and some plumbing situations just won’t wait.

At Euro Plumbing, we want to make things simple for you. Because most plumbing problems can’t wait, we want to save you the time and trouble in finding out how much various plumbing jobs will cost you. We’re arguably the only plumbing company in Auckland to show our prices online.

Our pricing structure is pretty straightforward. It shows how much we usually charge for our range of services. Given their nature and scope of work, we charge differently for standard plumbing services and for specialised services (i.e. leak detection, toilet repairs, drain survey, etc.).

What’s included in the bill?

Here’s what you’ll usually find on your plumbing bill:

• Labour fee – a set rate, exclusive of GST. The usual rate per hour is between $90 to $120 for the first-hour. For standard plumbing services, TEAM EURO charges $50 + GST (callout), and another $22 for every succeeding 15 minutes.

• Parts and materials – you may procure these yourself, although plumbers usually carry spare parts in their van or pick them from the store for you. You will be charged only what’s needed.

• Specialist equipment – if the job requires specialist tools such as CCTV drain cameras, concrete cutters or wet back vacuums, you will be charged an hourly hire fee on those.
•  
• Travel cost – this is normally included into the labour charge, but some plumbers charge travel costs that cover the time they leave for you house to when they get back to their base. This includes time spent going to and from a plumbing store to get needed parts.
•  
• GST – All the above charges will be added, and a 15% GST will be applied.

Site visits are done at no charge to you, and all quotes are subject to no obligation.

How do I pay?

Most plumbers accept cash, cheque, credit card (via the website), onsite Eftpos, and direct credit (internet banking). Euro Plumbing offers all these plus extra payment methods, such as Q-card, Farmers Card and PayPal.
