Given the fact pattern of this case, the DOS employee would have been fired for cause and likely prosecuted for mishandling information. Instead, DOS circled the wagons to protect HRC and flouted the rules she herself publicly touted. And now we learn what we suspected all along. That DOS employees were actually complicit in her law-breaking! I demand one standard for all employees. I demand equal application of the law. I demand a proper investigation and prosecution, if warranted. And the facts in this case certainly indicate prosecution is warranted!
