Hey Dutch. USGS has been on our news all morning. Dr.’a blah blah blah says, “20% chance of a 5.0 or less in the next 2 days, and 5% of 7.0% in the next 2 days”. Hhmmm 🧐…… Everyone is ticked that the warning LA EQ app isn’t working. They’re making excuses. Said they fixed the problem after the 1st quake. But it still didn’t work yesterday during the 7.1. What a joke… Oops… they just changed it…! Lol. 60% chance of a 6.0 or greater and a 10% chance of a 7.0 or greater in the next 2 two days.
Earthquake forecasting is a very inexact science, but I’ve always found Dutchsinse to be better at it than any of the USGS goobers.
I got news for you Dutch the energy is already moving thru Oklahoma. The rigs are having problems with the plates shifting now.
You do an amazing job ! You are a genius when it comes to earthquake predictions. I have been following you for several years!! You’re the best!!!!
Dutch- Your advice about the wrench tied to the gas pipe is a good idea. However, listening to the police scanner last night, people had the gas pipe break right off with no way to shut it off until the gas company shut off a line to the neighbourhood. So please, if the pipe or valve is damaged, do not waste time trying to solve the problem. Get out of the house, notify police and neighbours. Your house and belongings are nothing compared to your life. Get out if there is a gas leak immediately.

A magnitude 7.1 earthquake means the 6.4 was a foreshock. And, the fault line is destabilizing, which means the 7.1 earthquake very well could be a foreshock also.

Let’s not forget the devastating fires that occurred after the 7.9 earthquake that struck San Francisco in 1906. California is far more densely populated in the city areas and that would devastate the population. Would a massive earthquake have any affect on the Pacific Ocean? What about a title wave or something? If people on the west side of the San Andreas fault are separated by large land cracks how will they be rescued if no one can get to them by water? What if these set off more fires in the bigger cities? If I still lived there I would GTFO now, not buy supplies. Incidentally something woke me up at at exactly 4:44 this morning and now I’m listening to this and you say you started this at 4:44, that’s crazy!!!

I follow Dahboo77 and found some interesting wave lengths on the graphs. The wave lengths of the 1st initial 6.4 earthquake resembles a blast and shock wave of a weapons detonation, were as the following earthquakes are consistent with earthquake waves. Anyone looking into this?

Dutch has been pretty darn accurate in his forecasting of earthquakes. People need to educate themselves about the Grand Solar Minimum we are just entering. These cyclical solar/cosmic events have historically brought increased seismic, volcanic, and extreme weather events such as the historic flooding happening around the world along with longer winters, and extreme temperatures.

Always share you links locally saying “For the best and only independent global earthquake forecast.” We are 80 mi (atcf) just SW of the epicenter in the Mojave Desert, CA I am a native So Californian and been through all of the large earthquakes. These were big. The first one on the 4th was a very long roller. last night’s was shaking north to south. We can expect more at this point. We are prepared, not scared! Much LOVE.

I felt the first earthquake in my life, yesterday! I’m in Vegas. According to the video I recorded, it occurred at 8.21pm (pacific time). Pools were sloshing around too. Yes I spend a lot of time camping in this area driving trhough here so much ancient Lava flows here. In fact if you dig they had to move the railroad a year or two back past Edwards due to Lava coming up in the desert.

We were in Walnut Creek, Ca. at the time of the 7.1 & did not feel it. It was 90F there at 8 pm & 88F here in Martinez today. My building has been shaken by 2 quakes from Piedmont, 2 from Hercules, 1 from Pacheco & rocked by Imperial Canyon in 12 years. When I lived in Sacramento, at Loma Prieta time in 1989, the pool water jumped across the walkway, across the driveway & hit the front door where we were listening to World Series coverage and shook our apt. compex on Edison Ave., a block from Auburn Blvd. I had tickets for the series but was delayed. Normally, I would have taken Greyhound to SF via the Cypress Freeway. Had I gone to SF that day, I probably would have been killed. I kept 3 tvs on. 24-7 on the lawn in front of my apt. for 5 days and hundreds showed up from our building & the neighborhood to sit, eat & watched the live news coverage & people me food & thanked me for providing the information.

We swayed back and forth here at the Port of L.A. in our high-rise for almost one minute on Thursday and for almost two minutes on Friday. I had never went through anything like that before. Those minutes felt like eternity, swaying 150-feet high in the air. I really feel that we could be getting another major one, too. And watching your video … makes me believe it even more so now. Too, for the entire night, my dog has been laying right on top of me. He’s not a lightweight either! He’s a giant Labrador. He has been nervous all day, again. He really started up this past June 21st. I had made mental notes of it. So, it makes me believe something more is coming. Something BIG! This is not over. I have noticed the past eight weeks, especially last several weeks, that the dogs around here are barking a lot more than normal. And it’s unusual for my dog since you seldom hear him bark. Even our neighbors have said how silent he normally is.

Family who live in Palm Springs, CA felt the quake at home yesterday and today while they were at the movies. I told them to get their 72 hour bags ready and to tell their friends to be prepared. Our valley is a spreading graben that moves about a nail width yearly from the bottom of the Argus range west to the base of the Sierras. The fault system is a lateral slide/slip system. The last action in this system was a few years ago with a small 3.1 @ 9km down. This small fault system was the weakest of the related systems in the area. You will notice there has been action all the way up in the cascades offshore where a lot of attention has been given. Hopefully that one doesn’t “wake up” As far as volcanism; most systems are dormant other than the geothermal systems but they become active once north near the mammoth system. One should note the contribution of agriculture taking a huge amount of the ground water above the “Ricardo” basement rock system we have. Without that displacement it contributes to the base becoming even more weak and susceptible.
