The Art of War – Counter-Insurgency Against the Red-Green Axis

Centuries ago the Chinese military scholar Sun Tzu wrote “The Art of War” in which he said:

In order to be victorious in battle, you must know your enemy.

Tzu taught his disciples and the thousands who have read his work that, to prosecute war successfully, an understanding of the enemy’s motivation, history, moral authority, goals, objectives, strengths, and weaknesses is essential to formulate a plan of action.

In America today, we are fighting against two separate insurgencies – Marxism (Collectivism, Democratic Socialism) and Islam (Jihad and Sharia Law).  Each has its own and very different world view, but they share one common goal – to destroy our constitutional republic that protects and secures the Natural Law Rights and sovereignty of the individual.  Working together, this Red-Green Axis has set in motion an agenda that will fundamentally change America from within.

What is Insurgency? As defined by the Encyclopedia Britannica:

. . . modern insurgency uses rumors to discredit the government and its supporters, exacerbation of existing social conflicts and creation of new ones between racial, ethnic, religious, and other groups, political intrigue and manipulation to induce clashes between class or regional interests, economic disruption and dislocation, and any other means likely to destroy the existing social order and to deprive the government of its power base, all play a role in fomenting insurgency.

For decades, immigrants to our county came to escape oppressive regimes and to achieve economic freedom.  They went to night school to learn our language, history, and customs and proudly became “Americans”.  These immigrants remembered where they came from, but America was their home, and they assimilated into American society.

This is the concept of melting pot.  All the flavors mix together to form one single taste that is uniquely American.  When immigrants refuse to assimilate, it destroys the national identity and fractures national unity.  Our nation has become a salad bowl in which each group is easily identified, retains its group identity, and can seek special treatment and favors from pandering politicians very willing to sell their votes to stay in power.

What if the willful refusal to assimilate is a tool to destroy our nation?

In a successful insurgency, the initial penetration of the host society is often by stealth.  Much like the Trojan Horse, insurgents living among us gain influence and power over time.  They work to change our lifestyle by increments too small to be recognized until the overall trend becomes apparent. 

For most of our nation’s history, the Judeo-Christian principles which form the foundation of our national ethos were ever-present in the hearts and minds of American citizens.  In addition, the press was a constant watchdog over government, ensuring that the public was made aware of deviations from truth and principled behavior by those in power.  This created a tendency for self-correction whenever the ship of state began to sail off course.

Today, information is spread in multiple digital formats at the speed of light.  Control of the sources and content of media reflects the insurgent agenda with little opposition.  The general population is being fed a constant barrage of collectivist propaganda, and we have had two generations of children whose education lacked both basic historical facts and instruction in the use of logic.  A large segment of the population, therefore, is ignorant and easily swayed, lacking the tools and ability to question authority and understand the destructive and tyrannical consequences of the Collectivist and Jihadi motives and goals.

Political Correctness, the use of the First Amendment to attack our First Amendment right of free speech, prevents the public expression of opposing ideas and opinions.  It further eliminates many venues and media outlets that should be available for public discussion and debate.  It is clearly dangerous when the government, universities, and individuals can use false epithets or even legal penalties to block the uttering of thoughts and words just because they are uncomfortable to hear or contrary to one’s own views.  These are the tools of tyrants that have no place in a free society like ours.  Yet, Political Correctness has been allowed to flourish by the Collectivist Left to maintain the bias of the media’s message. 

To fight an insurgency, local action is the single most important stratagem that one can use to win over the hearts and minds of our fellow citizens.  In other words, each of us must become a “counter-insurgency activist” to save our constitutional republic.  We must use every method of outreach to spread the truth about the goals and consequences of the insurgencies that now threaten us and, instead, preach the benefits of individual freedom, limited government, private property rights, and a free market economy. 

To this end, minding the admonitions of Sun Tzu, the gathering of intelligence is a necessary requisite for ultimate victory.  This can be a difficult task because so much available information has been sanitized and edited to promote the Marxist and Sharia Law talking points of the Collectivist Left.  When possible, it is best to obtain first person accounts from inside these movements written by men and women who understand the threat from personal experience.

He is the subject of the book “Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That’s Conspiring to Islamize America.”
