ONGOING KOREAN DRAMA MR. SUNSHINE BREAKS TV RATING RECORDS!
Still shipping Eugene Choi and Lady Ae Shin (preferably to the U.S.)? Most definitely! As it is, the ongoing Korean drama Mr. Sunshine has broken drama TV ratings with its series high of 16.6 percent for episode 22, last Sunday.
Starring Lee Byung Hun as Eugene/Yu-jin Choi and Kim Tae Ri as Lady Ae Shin, this must watch Korean drama is just super! It has brought in an amazing 14.3 percent nationwide audience share for episode 21. However, it did not stop there, as episode 22 reached series high with an impressive 16.6 percent!
For a cable channel/pay TV, these are totally awesome numbers! As viewers move to its final week, the tvN drama will most probably continue to do an amazing performance.
Ongoing Korean drama Mr. Sunshine is set during the early 1900s. It is a historical romance, action and drama with a dash of comedy.
The story tells of a soldier’s romance with a noblewoman. Eugene Choi (Lee Byung Hun) who is a U.S. military soldier falls in love with a Joseon aristocrat (Kim Tae Ri) who is a secret member of the Righteous Army. Together, they fight for Joseon’s independence from the Japanese rule.
Episode 23 will air on Sep. 29, while episode 24 will air on Sep. 30 on tvN. It comes from writer Kim Eun Sook of the drama hits Descendants of the Sun and Goblin.
