Something about a woman is a salute to all the women in our lives! This hit was written by David Lee Murphy who is best known for “Dust On The Bottle” in the ’90s and in 2018 he teamed up with Kenny Chesney to write the #1 hit “Everything’s gonna be alright”.
The song was produced by Bristol Records CEO/President Jovan Vujatovic and was mixed by music legend Mike Fraser who may be best known for mixing/producing a number of hit records which include AC/DC, Aerosmith, Zac Brown Band, and Terri Clark.
Hillbilly Vegas is based out of Oklahoma. HBV were the 2016 “Liftmaster” winners and had previous sponsorship with NASCAR’s Schoenfeld Racing Team. Hillbilly Vegas 2018 North American tour seen them on the main stage with Blake Shelton at Wisconsin’s Country Jam – Daytona Beach Florida for Bike Week – Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, along with many other live venues and festivals. The band currently performs 80 to 100 shows per year. 2018 was a big year for Hillbilly Vegas with a worldwide release of their first single, “Field Fulla Hillbillies” through Bristol Records – SONY/ The Orchard & Perry Music Group. The single was also written by Grammy Nominated Country Singer David Lee Murphy.
