Egypt’s Desire for Justice

It is clear that Egypt’s new president, Mohammed Morsi, has assumed and usurped less power than Barak Obama, but nevertheless he will be vilified in the U.S. media as a radical Islamist and revolutionary for demanding that Hosni Mubarak be tried for his crimes against the Egyptian people and working to ameliorate Israel’s enforced starvation of the Palestinian people.

It is ironic but true that if he had grabbed the power Mubarak had and used it to torture, murder, starve and crush the people in matters that advance U.S. interests, he would be hailed by the U.S. government as a friend of the American people and a trusted ally in ensuring Middle East peace and stability.  But, it is these very crimes committed by Mubarak that created the instability that helped bring Morsi to power.

Ironically, while the media condemns Morsi, Barak, Obama has claimed the power to execute those whom he personally deems a threat to the U.S., and has exercised those powers while killing American citizens, to include 16-year-old Abdulrahman al-Awlaki.  It seems those who murder their countrymen, engage in torture, betray the will of their people and commit treason against their nation are defended within U.S. foreign policy and media circles.

It should seem obvious that while the U.S. denounces the accounting of Mubarak for his crimes of torture and murder, in the very next breath U.S. officials call for the assassination or execution of Julian Assange for having committed no crime at all.  One should wonder why crimes or even non-crimes (that being the exposure of crimes committed by the state) are dealt with so ruthlessly and often times through the use of extreme violence as in the case of Ruby Ridge and Waco, while the torture and mass murder of people by government officials are viewed as routine matters in the day-to-day business of the imperium.

The U.S. government has fooled the American people into accepting the crimes committed by the government against them.  After every election the sins of empire are overlooked as being the collateral damage that comes from the U.S. government doing its work.  More to the truth is that it is the result of a perpetual crime spree perpetrated by the elite.  Just as the black market, extortion, robbery, protection rackets and gang warfare all require constant murder for their operation, so to does the foreign, economic and military policy of the U.S. for its operation.

One case in point of the U.S. government’s abuse of its power is the prosecution of Bernard Von NotHaus who provided Liberty Dollars as markers against gold that were 100% redeemable.  For providing this service in which not a single person was swindled out of a penny, Von NatHous is facing a fifteen-year sentence after the government was allowed to lie to the jurors about what the U.S. Constitution states in order to obtain a guilty verdict.  Yet, the bankers and elite who stole trillions of dollars and have transferred so much money from the middle class to their own accounts through every manner of banking and corporate fraud and theft, and the government’s de facto participation as a silent partner due to it needing funding for its global hegemonic designs, have all been allowed not only to profit from their crimes, but to also continue to operate them as a protected criminal syndicate.

Justice demands that if Mubarak killed even one innocent person in his attempt to oppress the Egyptian people or killed a single individual in violation of international law, that he be brought to account in a criminal trial.  This demands not a trial by government, but a trial by the people.  What the world does not need is the tyranny that has become the U.S. Federal Court System.  It does not need my lying judges who were appointed by lying politicians to advance their criminal conspiracies and tyrannies.  If Mubarak has a jury picked from those who were at Tahrir Square, it would be hard to think of a situation that would provide better justice.

It does not take long to be sickened by institutionalized hypocrisies within the U.N and U.S. foreign policy to see there is very little justice be dispensed by these bodies.  All one has to do is juxtapose Saudi meddling in Syria with its actions to crush the majority of Bahraini Shiites being oppressed under Sunni rule.  The world now watches as Bahrain jails its doctors who provided medical treatment to those being slaughtered by government forces.

Many pray justice will eventually come to the U.S. and all those who have acted in concert to oppress the American people.  With the government living on the forever dwindling effectiveness of the life-support provided by printing presses churning out hundreds of thousands of tons of hundred dollar bills, many hope that in the end elitist criminals will have no more credibility or legitimacy than that of the value of those worthless bills being spewed as the U.S. empire collapses.

Maybe one day the American people can be free and have the justice that Morsi is willing to provide to the Egyptian people.  I am sure that such justice will not be had unless Americans begin their own revolution.
