Second healthcare worker at Dallas hospital tests positive for Ebola
A second healthcare worker at the Dallas hospital where Ebola patient Thomas Duncan was treated has tested positive for the virus, Texas health officials say.
Texas Department of State Health Services confirmed that the worker had tested positive in a statement early Wednesday. It did not specify what position the worker held at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, though officials did say that the person was among those who provided care for Duncan, who died from the virus Oct. 8.
The statement said that the worker had reported a fever Tuesday and had been placed in isolation. Preliminary tests were run at the state public health lab in Austin and results came back at approximately midnight Wednesday. A separate test will be done at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta.
The statement also said the health care worker, who wasn’t identified, was interviewed to quickly identify any contacts or potential exposures and that others will be monitored. It added that the type of monitoring will depend on the nature of their interactions with the health care worker and the potential of exposure to the virus.
According to the hospital spokesman, all personnel were following protocol yet somehow healthcare workers are were still exposed…..Has the virus gone airborne?

Well, they finally got it in the country and now it’s spreading….
The wiser question would be; WHAT has got in the country? Is “what” plural or singular? How are they detecting it/them; what is the accuracy and pertinence of the detections/diagnosis?
Ebola is a nice “be very, very afraid” word, so we understand the “agenda” of those using the label. Arguments such as, “is it airborne?” predate the Dustin Hoffman movie (which implicated the CIA – from memory).

We suspect it’s hemorrhagic fever (Ebola) however this is from what’s being reported…We’re all aware of media accuracy and truth these days…
Sadly, not enough is known about this strain of ebola to say it can be transmitted airborn or not, so if I was a healthcare nurse, I would not be treating anyone with ebola until these questions and concerns are addressed.
This Ebola virus is constantly evolving and mutating.
Even in a controlled environment in Africa it was known to travel between rhesus monkeys some 30 ft away.
This bug needs to be treated as the extreme problem it is with the most extreme measures possible to kill it.
Other hospitals here in the USA are not prepared for it as its abilities to mutate and spread are vastly
underestimated.

Besides which, his family has been isolated and cell phones confiscated. …as is true of each of the quarantined and infected. How would you know? Also, new guidelines say, it’s FORTY TWO days before infection can be ruled out. So, again, how would you know? How would anyone know?
Then, there is the possibility that all of it is fake, since we can’t communicate with anyone. And then there is the passibility that specific cases would be reported for specific reasons… It’s been reported that nurses and patients are in avoidance mode of the hospital.
There is the info that CDC uses Level 4 precautions, while treatment centers usually are at Level 2 or Level 3, at most.
The dicey-ness appears to be beyond coincidence, and at the least…Bears watching…

I don’t think we fully understand all of Ebola’s transmission mechanisms to date. Since we’ve given it the opportunity to spread outside Africa I suspect it will continue to grown exponentially.
The spread of Ebola using airborne particles or physical contact will not be as devastating as the Ebola Vaccine that they are preparing. Media is spreading more panic than the Ebola is infecting people in this part of the world. Similar to the H1N1 virus of 2009. When they begin mandatory mass vaccinations, then the opportunity to spread a Virus will be their mandate. It’s called the VSV-EBOV vaccine now being tested on individuals in a U.S. Military Clinic (only 40 people are required for this study?) Case in point is the 5 passengers on one flight that landed in Boston. To contain the spread of the virus, all 5 should have been isolated together. For some apparent reason each passenger exhibiting symptoms were moved to 5 separate hospitals….Incredibly DUMB or a deliberate move to ensure the virus spreads.

The US owns the patent on the ebola strains, what does that tell you? They created this and plan to kill and take the lands wealth to sustain the american way of life– like buying what you want when you want and wasting food among other things. Even if it isn’t air borne we have a real problem after the second person, I understand the person had a plane ride the day before she started showing she was sick (I hope so), they are saying all the people that rode with her are low level risk, but so are the other 5 plane loads of people before they pulled the plane from service, I would hate to be the 5 people that sat in the same set she did, they would be higher risk of getting it, if she could infect anyone when she took the ride.
