This Food Can Protect You From Cancer, Stroke And Improves Digestion (Video)
(N.Morgan) Sauerkraut or sour cabbage is an extremely underrated vegetable which should be more prominent in an everyday diet.
It possesses several health benefits and improves your overall health.
This superfood is an excellent way to maintain long term health, so be sure to eat more sour cabbage and experience the benefits for yourself!
Here are just a few of the most important health benefits:
Natural probiotic
Sour cabbage is produced via fermenting which enrich it with a number of beneficial bacteria and give it natural probiotic properties.
All of these bacteria are incredibly beneficial for your digestive system and restore your intestinal flora back to normal after antibiotic therapies.
Abundant in vitamin C
Sour cabbage is rich in vitamin C and is often used by sailors to prevent scurvy, a condition caused by lack of vitamin C.
Stronger bones
Sauerkraut is rich in minerals and vitamin K which make it excellent for bone strength and preventing osteoporosis.
Vitamin K is crucial for its bone strengthening property because it’s responsible for the production of proteins which balance bones mineralization.
Promotes heart health
Sour cabbage is a rich source of fibers which promote healthy digestion and improve cardiovascular and cognitive health.
The fibers found in sour cabbage can regulate bad cholesterol and lower the risk of stroke, arteriosclerosis and heart attack.
Prevents cancer
Sauerkraut contains isothiocyanate a powerful ingredient in the fight against cancer.
Furthermore, it also contains glucosinolate which boosts the production of our natural antioxidant enzymes, and flavonoids which prevent arterial damage and narrowing.
In the video below SuperfoodEvolution explains how sauerkraut or raw cultured vegetables come from an ancient art of fermentation that dates back thousands of years.
SuperfoodEvolution goes on to explain how fermentation is a naturally occurring process that is prepared without heat or pasteurization.

Thanks again, Morgan. Your health posts are FANTASTIC, I read every one.
Hi N. Morgan!
Hello Angle#3(prelim),
Charlie here. Ah yes, the sauerkraut. Very easy to make, once made you just sit back and let the magic work. You can also do this very easy with the Asian version called “kim chee” if you like it spicy using Napa cabbage, or the “won bok”. Many recipes exist on the internet.
As you know sauerkraut is a WAP favorite. The best book on it they say is Wild Fermentation by Sandor Katz if you are into this stuff.
But sauerkraut is easy to make.
Signed,
Charlie (who enjoys making fermented vegetables whilst eating doughnuts)
who puts the ingredients list in %?
what does 13% salt mean? apprently that means high content of salt. no explanation….
I can go through all the health benefis by just saying: how?
what does boost immune mean? Is that more immune cells?, is the immune more reactive? are the macrophages doubling? What does it mean?
