Narco banners flood Acapulco

At dawn yesterday, there was the finding of at least 20 narcomantas in different points of the port of Acapulco.

Copies of the same message were placed mainly in crowded areas, such as Avenida La Escénica and Área Diamante, announcing a proposed union between criminal cartels.

“To the citizens of this beautiful port!! Peace is returning, and this is not the work of the government, but the coordination and respect of a single group called ‘Los Amigos’ (sic)”.

The message goes on with leaders of the Cártel Independiente de Acapulco [CIDA] given an ultimatum to join the group.

“To all the people of de José Angel Palacios Galeana, “Capuchino and/or Culon”, Oscar Aguilar and Virus, they have 24 hours to join or run (sic)”.
