Reporter murdered, the third reporter in Cancun killed in 2 months

Known as “the Winnie the Pooh”, the reporter was killed at approximately 7:00 pm on Playa Caleta Street, in Supermanzana 29.

Javier Enrique Rodríguez Valladares, a reporter for Channel 10 of Cancun, was murdered on Wednesday afternoon in a downtown neighborhood of the city.

Rodríguez Valladares, known as “El Winnie Pooh”, was killed at approximately 7:00 pm on Playa Caleta Street , in Supermanzana 29 in Cancún.

So far it is unknown if the cause of the homicide was his work as a journalist.

In less than two months there are already three executions of reporters in the state.

José Guadalupe Chan Dzib , a reporter for the digital media Playa News .was murdered on June 30^thin the municipality of Felipe Carrillo Puerto

On July 24, the director of the same media, Rubén Pat , was executed when leaving a bar in Playa del Carmen.
