Buenavista Tomatlán, Michoacán; to September 9, 2018.- Three alleged assassins and two elements of the Navy of Mexico [Marina] were killed during a confrontation that took place on Sunday morning,

The events occurred in the locality of the Cenobio Moreno neighborhoods, at apx 06:30 hours. There was a confrontation between alleged members of the criminal group “Los Viagras” and elements of the Navy.

The confrontation lasted for several minutes and at the end left a balance of three alleged assassins killed as well as two elements of the Navy, in addition to one injured.

After the shootout, road closures were recorded on the roads that lead from Apatzingán to Colinias, in the Chandio stretch.
