Federal Police are ambushed for the second time in one week, in Tala Jalisco; 6 injured

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat from Reforma

An ambush against the Federal Police, left 6 injured at dawn of this Tuesday on a road in the Valles Region.

The attack was reported around 03:00 hours, when the elements patrolled in convoy in the Municipality of Tala.

The occupants of at least four trucks fired at police and threw a grenade at one of the patrols, which was consumed by flames

In the end, one policeman was seriously injured, two stable, one of them with bullet impacts in the right knee, two more injured by fragments.

The most seriously injured were transferred to the Metropolitan Area of Guadalajara for medical attention, with the help of paramedics from this city.

It should be noted that on October 9^th on the same road a policeman of the same corporation died and another was injured after they were ambushed.
