19 Executed in Guanajuato, 3 Children Among Them

Three Children of the ages of 5, 7, and 12 years old lost their lives during the shootouts registered in the State of Guanajuato which left 19 people executed by the end of the day.

Guanajuato, Guanajuato.- A violent day shook the State of Guanajuato on Saturday , registering 19 in 7 Municipios , between them three minors.

Municipio de Apeseo El Alto registered the highest number of assassinations on this day with 8;

Iraputo and Salvatierra with 3 each, Guanajuato with 2 and one each in the Municipios of Valle de Santiago, Salamanca and Abasolo respectively.

In Apaseo El Alto, where the Moreno Governor María del Carmen Ortiz Terrazas registered two different attacks by armed men that left 8 dead, and 5 wounded; among those who died were six adults and 2 minors.

According to witnesses the first event took place on a rural road toward the community of San Antonio Calichar on which armed mmen ambushed 5 people traveling in a van. One of the victims was shot dead in the interior of the vehicle, while the others where shot while trying to escape the vehicle and were found on the ground near it.

Minutes later in the community of San Bartolomé Aguascalientes armed men shot up a home leaving 3 dead, among them 2 children 7 and 12 years of age.

In the Municipio of Salvatierra gunmen attacked a grocery store located in La Colonia La Esperanza
leaving 3 dead, one a 5 year old child.

In the Capitol of the State 2 men were assassinated in the interior of a home located in the community of Santa Teresa, the house being located near the free Highway between Silao and Guanajuato.

Meanwhile, in the Colonia las Américas de Irapuato a man was assassinated by bullets; also two more executions were reported without details.

In Salamanca a vegetable vendor was executed right in the center of town, midday by hitmen on board a motorcycle. The victim had just located his vegetable stand outside the Mercado Tomasa Esteves when he was surprised by the delinquents.

Similarly, in Valle de Santiago and Abasola there were 2 more reportedly executed.

Until now there are no reports of any persons detained related to these crimes.
