Published on Apr 13, 2019

Earlier this week, headlines were made when a 9th Circuit judge issued an injunction saying President Trump could no longer send asylum seekers back to Mexico.

That made headlines and I bet you saw a bunch of them. Guess what? On Friday, a higher court OVERRULED that ruling and said Trump is right. Trump can continue to send asylum seekers back to Mexico!

I’m willing to bet you didn’t see that headline anywhere. But that’s why you have us at WeLoveTrump.

We’ll always show you! Take a look: Here’s the nitty-gritty, from the AP:

The Latest on a court ruling that would have prevented the Trump administration from returning asylum seekers to Mexico to await court hearings (all times local): 4:45 p.m.

A federal appeals court has temporarily blocked a judge’s order that would have stopped the Trump administration from returning asylum seekers to Mexico.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals issued a temporary stay Friday. A three-judge panel set a Tuesday deadline for civil liberties groups to submit arguments why the order blocking the Trump administration should take effect.

It set a Wednesday deadline for the government to argue why the policy should remain in place. Judge Richard Seeborg ruled Monday in favor of civil liberties groups who want to halt the practice while their lawsuit moves forward challenging the policy. His order had been set to take effect Friday afternoon.

Seeborg said the policy violates U.S. law by failing to evaluate dangers migrants face in Mexico. The government says Seeborg’s order is erroneous and endangers the public during a humanitarian crisis at the border. ___ 10:54 a.m.

The Trump administration is asking an appeals court to let it continue returning asylum seekers to Mexico to await court hearings while it challenges a San Francisco judge’s order that would block the policy.

The government requested a stay with the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to prevent the lower court order from taking effect Friday afternoon. Judge Richard Seeborg ruled Monday in favor of civil liberties groups to halt the practice while their lawsuit moves forward challenging the policy.

His order will take effect at 5 p.m. Friday unless a stay is issued. President Trump was celebrating: And here’s more, from The Hill:

The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in favor of President Trump on Friday when it determined that the government can at least temporarily continue to send asylum-seekers back to Mexico.

The asylum program was scheduled to be shut down at midnight under an order from District Judge Richard Seeborg, but the White House requested that the appeals court intervene.

The 9th Circuit temporarily stayed the lower court’s ruling as the parties get ready to submit their arguments next week on the government’s request for a longer stay that would likely last months. “Finally, great news at the Border!” Trump tweeted Friday night.

Story is changing fast now that Trump want’s to send them all to sanctuary cities. That is poetic justice and do that. You got prison busses and FEMA busses and many other choices to add. 100 large busses from each border state a day for a month and the democratic party will join you in securing the border. Illegal immigration suddenly got called what it is – dumping. The people are pissed and are behind you 100%!
