Juan Carlos ‘N’ and his companion are accused of the murder and abandonment of at least four bodies dismembered in the municipality of Silao and of at least 9 more homicides.
Silao, Guanajuato: Thanks to the intelligence work of the specialized areas of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the State Attorney General’s Office, together with the Public Security Secretariat of the State, the capture of Juan Carlos “N” and Adrián and / or Geovanni “N” and was achieved. The two men, allegedly responsible for the abandonment of four bodies dismembered on July 2 in Silao, were arrested and one of them calls himself the leader of the Jalisco Cartel Nueva Generación (CJNG), as reported in a press conference, the attorney general of Guanajuato, Carlos Zamarripa, and Secretary of Security, Alvar Cabeza de Vaca.
“When we stopped them we found them with two high power rifles known as 7.62 x 39 mm goat horns, ( AK47) 52 doses of crystal and a tactical vest,” Cabeza de Vaca said.
One of the detainees was identified as Juan Carlos ‘N’, who along with his companion was linked to the process of the investigation: “We were able to obtain data in which these people were directly linked to different criminal events that occurred in the last days in the municipality of Silao, basically related to the dismemberment of several bodies and, of course, also the deprivation of life of other people, as well as of some facts that denounced them for extorsion of some people, and / or businesses “, commented Zamarripa.
In previous editions, MILENIO reported the finding of abandoned bodies in the middle of public thoroughfare, on Independencia street in Colonia Morelos.
Part of the investigations allowed them to locate a safe house in the community of Los Nicolases , in the municipality of Guanajuato, a building where three more bodies were found dead and in relation to the latest events in Silao.
Finally, thanks to a qualifying judge, the initial process link was granted for the crimes of narcotics possession and possession of firearms and explosives exclusively for the use of the Army or the Air Force, and an ongoing investigation into their possible participation in at least 9 homicides.
