Acapulco: 5 Dead and 8 Wounded at Mr Bar Karaoke

Five murdered men, and eight more injured people, one of them female, was the balance of an armed attack inside a bar located in the emblematic area of ​​the Countess, on Miguel Aleman Costera Avenue, Zona Dorado, in Acapulco; the Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that the victims were based in the Guerrero port town.

The attack was reported to the authorities around 07:30 in the morning of this Sunday on the guarded avenue, inside the bar located inside the Condesa square; Restaurants, hotels, bars, bank branches, convenience stores are located in this area, where tourists watched astonished the police mobilization.

After the report of the shooting, police officers arrived from the three orders of government, as well as troops from the Navy, Army and National Guard, who confirmed the attack and cordoned off the area, which covered up the sidewalk and placed the patrols in double lanes  of all corporations.
As reported by the authorities, armed men arrived at the scene and shot at the bar’s visitors, where four men died at the scene and nine others were injured, including a woman in her 20s, who were transferred to different hospitals, but one of the injured died when he was taken by ambulance to the general hospital of El Quemado.
