This situation will not be solved militarily. It CAN BE SOLVED POLITICALLY.

It is well known that western forces have supported ISIS in attempt to break up a sovereign nation Syria into multiple pieces. This failed and basically brought in Russia and perhaps Iran to help support Syria. Now Israel wants to bomb what it thinks are Iranian hideouts inside Syria. This is like Gorilla warfare in Vietnam. It will never work. There will be too many civilian casualties and Israel is never going to destroy this help with bombing. It will loose more planes. And it will bring in more help, not get rid of it.

Israel needs to go to the negotiating table with Assad and strike a peace treaty. UN can monitor. Otherwise the world will view Israel as an aggressor in a war that cannot be won and it will look to be an agitator.
