The NORML FORML is a charitable event produced by Curved Papers for the benefit of NORML, Empire State NORML and CCA NORML, taking place in New York City during Cannabis Week in conjunction with the CWCBExpo, the city’s largest annual cannabis business trade show, which runs from May 29 – June 1 at the Javits Center.

World renowned artist and innovator Jacob Wheeler will unveil his new series LIVE at the NORML FORML. Wheeler’s new work is designed to stimulate a conversation to raise awareness around the healing benefits of medical cannabis in coping with the harms of opiate addiction and as an alternative treatment for chronic pain. Wheeler is displaying an installation of this series for the first time at the NORML FORML exhibit.

The artist will donate $50 from each sale from the series during the exhibit to NORML. One piece will be awarded to the winner of a social media contest which will run until Friday May 31, and be announced on the show floor of CWCBExpo that afternoon.

A panel of NORML champions will be assembled for the evening. Attorneys David Holland, Joy Beckerman and Joseph Bondy will give an up-to-date perspective on legalization of marijuana and the directions of cannabis industries and issues.

Scientist David Heldreth of True Terpenes and Panacea Plant Sciences will give a preview of his appearance before the FDA on May 31, and an overview of the scientific and regulatory landscape at the federal and state levels.

Music by Jeff NYC Funk, and Gus Fafalios and Roger DeBonis will round out an evening of art, science, law, policy, passion and dreams.
