In the original sketch, Ernie is scammed into buying air in a bottle by Lefty, the neighborhood con-puppet. Peter re-released the clip with one important change – he substitutes the word “air” for “bitcoin.” The result is a hilarious and pot-stirring perspective that’s sure to get people talking and who knows, maybe even thinking. Bitcoin enthusiasts will object that air and bitcoin are fundamentally different. Try explaining that to Ernie.

You buy Bitcoin, what do you have. Some people paid $19000 per coin, half of that disappeared. It’s worth round about $8000 now. That $8000 could go to zero in a heart beat then what do you have—-0. The safest hedge is precious metals. That gold or silver coin will always be in your pocket and it won’t go to zero value. Smart Bitcoin investors sold at $19000 and bought some precious metals.
I am no expert, but I understand cryptos to be open source ledger software that allows you to be your own bank. Air is electronic fiat. Adoption is on the rise and I seriously doubt the price will fall to zero. There is a need for this software.
