Singer and Actress Is ‘Shot Dead’ by Her Muslim Husband in Yet Another Act of Honor Violence Against Female Artists in Pakistan

In yet another incident of violence against female artists in Pakistan, actress and singer Reshma was shot dead, allegedly by her husband.

According to a report by Geo tv, Reshma was the suspect’s fourth wife. (Nagaland)

Police revealed that the suspect entered the house and started firing at his wife following a domestic dispute. Reshma’s husband managed to escape the crime scene.

This is the 15th such incident of violence against female artists in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this year.

A Pakistani singer and actress was allegedly shot dead by her own husband.

The TV actress known as Reshma is thought to have been gunned down after a domestic dispute.

The suspect, who had three wives before Reshma, allegedly stormed into the singer’s house she shared with her brother in Nowshera Kalan, north Pakistan.

Reshma was famous in Pakistan for her role in a drama called Zhobal Goluna.

She also released songs in her native language of Pashto.
