De Blasio Administration Flounders in Snowstorm

Putting a screwball like Bill de Blasio in charge of New York City may not have any upsides, but it has more than enough downsides to compensate. Some of these become obvious when there is a snowstorm:

Infuriated parents lashed out at school officials for refusing to cancel classes on Friday — even after busloads of students didn’t get home until midnight or later because of the city’s slow response to the snowstorm.

It took kids as long as 8.5 hours to get home. Anyone who has tried commuting in the NYC area knows the time was not spent pleasantly. One mom complained that her 3-year-old was stuck on a bus for 6 hours.

Surprisingly, Marxist Mayor Bill de Blasio did not blame Donald Trump or anthropogenic climate change. Did he take responsibility? No, nothing that surprising. He blamed the weather forecast.

New Yorkers are annoyed, but not so annoyed that it will put a dent in de Blasio’s popularity. He is a rabid moonbat married to a Lesbian of Color; that’s the important thing. Just last year, he was reelected by a 2 to 1 margin, despite everything.
