Vegan Bans Omnivore Relatives from Her Wedding

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

“Repressive tolerance” reaches its apogee when vegans demand that everyone embrace their unnatural dietary regimen. A woman whose name is unknown has even refused to let meat-eating family members attend her wedding on the grounds that they are “murderers”:

“When your ‘family’ tries to guilt trip you into letting them come to your fully vegan wedding, even though they’re omnivores,” she wrote via social media with two laughing-crying emojis. “Just for some context, some family members were told they are not invited to my wedding because we don’t want to host murderers. Our wedding is supposed to be one of the happiest days of our lives.”

This was too much for more open-minded vegans, who rebuked her online. But the militant moonbat stuck to her guns.

The unexpected backlash eventually prompted the Australia-based bride to pen a lengthy (read: whiny) addendum to her Facebook post, giving more backstory into a bit of family drama. “They have consistently attacked me and my partner just for being vegan,” she said. “When I broke the news to them, all I got was attacked because I don’t want the weight of having people that still kill animals (the very beings we are trying to protect) at my wedding on my conscience.”

So it is her excluded relatives who are the intolerant ones.

The sulky bride-to-be further defended her choice. “I have tried to educate these people for more than 2 years with no result so I’m not putting up with it at my wedding.” The rant concluded with, “I’m sorry if that makes me ‘rude’ or a ‘b**ch’ because I’m not compromising the ethics that I share with everyone here.”

Conflating moonbattery with ethics is nearly as foolish as conflating meat with murder. The result in either case is self-righteous buffoonery.
