Global Warming Results in More and Less Snow

Not long ago, the New York Times screeched that global warming would soon mean the end of snow:

Nothing besides a national policy shift on how we create and consume energy will keep our mountains white in the winter — and slow global warming to a safe level.

This is no longer a scientific debate. It is scientific fact.

Right, the science is settled, just as the Goracle has revealed. The settled science also says that global warming causes more snow:

Climate change is not only making the planet warmer, it is also making snowstorms stronger and more frequent…

Climate ideologues need the wiggle room, in light of stories like this:

Several ski resorts in the Eastern Sierra and Tahoe closed part or all operations Monday because of a blizzard that dropped as much as 9 feet of snow in the biggest storm system so far this season.

Too bad the enviromoonbats running California waste the public’s money on bullet train boondoggles but won’t build more reservoirs. The massive snowfall would alleviate the drought conditions that we told are caused by global warming but are actually caused by the failure to store water in the generally arid Southwestern climate (see here, here, here, and here).
