Warner Wolf Arrested for Felony Moonbattery

If the toxic combination of arrogance, totalitarianism, irresponsibility, obnoxiousness, and sheer moonbattery that characterizes members of the establishment news media is not irritating enough to suit you, turn to the sports media, which incredibly enough is even worse. New Yorkers will remember sportscaster Warner Wolf for his signature line “Let’s go to the videotape!” Now we have something else to remember him for — moonbattery so extreme it landed him in jail:

Wolf was arrested [Thursday] in Florida for removing letters from a sign at his private gated community that spelled the word “plantation,” officials said.

Wolf will still get to live in a gated community, but it will be public.

Wolf, 81, turned himself in Thursday for breaking off the letters of the word from the “Classics Plantation Estates” sign in East Naples on Nov. 30, officials said.

Moonbats will bark that the real crime here is not Wolf’s vandalism, but the thoughtcrime inherent in the word “plantation.” Because slaves including black slaves worked on plantations in the distant past, the word “plantation” is racist and most be struck from the Newspeak Dictionary. This is, in all seriousness, the stated motive for Wolf’s antisocial behavior.

He faces a felony charge of criminal mischief, an arrest report from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office said.

His neighbors are advised that he has been released on $5,000 bond and may come after plantation shutters next.
