Happy New Year and some great news…

Dear Marriage Supporter — I want to wish you and yours a happy and safe New Year’s. Please accept my prayers and good wishes that 2018 will be a terrific year for you and your family. We are so grateful to have you on our team. You will be in my thoughts and prayers throughout this exciting year to come.

I also have some great news to share that shows how sometimes disappointment is turned into blessing. NOM normally has a major direct mail campaign underway at the end of the year, but due to a variety of factors beyond our control, our December mailing was held up. As a result the expected donations from that mailing didn’t arrive in time to qualify for the $250,000 year-end matching campaign. I explained this to the group of donors who put up the funds for the match and they blew me away with their response: ‘Brian, let’s get the mailer out and extend the match through January.’ Wow!

I can’t tell you how many times I have been taken aback by the love and generosity of our supporters. It is a humbling experience to know that so many people are praying and sacrificing for us.

There will be plenty of time in the future to talk more about the extended match, but later in the week I want to begin to walk you through our detailed 2018 Strategic Plan. I think you will be pleased with our expansive plans.

In the meantime, thank you for your encouragement and support. We really appreciate it.
