Judge Declares North Carolina Legislature Illegitimate

Judicial tyranny by left-wing screwballs who flap around in bat-like black robes is officially over the line. A moonbat judge in North Carolina has ruled that the entire state judiciary is illegitimate because racism:

On Friday, Wake County Superior Court Judge G. Bryan Collins struck down two constitutional amendments that had been approved by voters in November. One regarded voter ID requirements and the other a cap on state income taxes. The amendments had been placed on the ballot by the Republican-controlled legislature.

Collins ruled that the lawmakers had no standing to approve constitutional amendments because they were elected using maps that federal courts, up to the U.S. Supreme Court, found to be unconstitutional racial gerrymanders.

The maps are said to be racially discriminatory.

These earlier judgments were in all likelihood also inspired by progressive politics.

Once again, leftist activists brought the case so that a likeminded judge could impose their will. This time it was North Carolina NAACP and Clean Air Carolina.

Which laws are still valid in light of this ruling and which are not remains an open question. Maybe there is no law in North Carolina now. Have fun, criminals!
