Radical Abortion Push in New Mexico

It isn’t just Andrew Cuomo’s New York and Ralph Northam’s Virginia. Democrats have also been pushing the limits on pro-abortion fanaticism in Michelle Lujan Grisham’s New Mexico — despite Lujan Grisham blasphemously claiming to be Catholic.

Like Cuomo and Northam, she backs radical legislation:

The legislation, which contradicts the teachings of the Catholic Church, would legalize abortions for basically any reason up to birth. A state Senate committee just approved the bill, and the state House has already passed it.

Lujan Grisham denounces those who oppose killing viable babies right up to the moment of birth:

“Opponents have expressed fear that, somehow, this legislation would facilitate murder,” said Lujan-Grisham. “Elected officials have no business making a woman’s choices for her. Neither do faraway federal judges who have, in some cases, made a career out of antagonizing marginalized groups, not the least of all women.”

Any horror can be excused if it is inflicted on behalf of the “marginalized.” Note that Lujan Grisham regards herself — the chief executive of the state — to be marginalized. The helpless infants she would help murder? Not marginalized.

In a world run by Cultural Marxists, to be marginalized is to have the whip hand.

Meanwhile, California’s rulers are so bent on promoting degeneracy among impressionable youth that we read this:

A new member of the California State Assembly is trying real hard to reward Planned Parenthood for an endorsement and a $4400 campaign contribution he received last year. Assemblyman Jesse Gabriel recently introduced AB 624, a bill that could put Planned Parenthood’s phone number in the pocket of every California student age 12 – 24.

How you ask? By requiring every student identification card in the state to include the number of “a sexual or reproductive health hotline.”

The law would apply even to private schools, including Christian schools. This is of course compelled speech, a violation of the First Amendment. The Constitution will go in the same trash bin as the Bible if progressives have their way.
