A Showdown is Coming

A showdown is coming, not unlike the showdown of Earps and Clantons at the OK Coral. Guns blazing at high noon. Hot. Sweaty. Dusty. Dry. The smell of gun smoke everywhere. So who will be standing after the shooting stops and the air clears?

Mueller has no hard evidence of collusion/conspiracy between Trump and Russians to affect the 2016 election. None. Just more innuendo and political hyperbole like Cohen. Mueller has not indicted any Americans for collusion/conspiracy. None. And it is obvious from the change in narrative by Democrats that they don’t believe any such evidence is coming. So instead, the Democrats are pushing their attack on Trump in other directions like about his tax returns or obstruction of justice or abuse of power or sex.

First: What happens to all those people like Mike Flynn who got caught in the cross-fire for actions that had nothing to do with collusion/conspiracy? What happens to their families and their lives? Are they left crumpled to die in the middle of the dirt streets as victims who got hit by random bullets from the Mueller gunslingers?

Next: Will Democrats, establishment Republicans, and media continue to use any means that they can muster to negate the 2016 election?

It sure looks like it from Schiff, Nadler, Waters, CNN, MSNBC, the NY Times, Washington Post, et al. Same with Romney. 81 supposed people are being called before House committees, files are being subpoenaed, and Trump tax returns are being sought. More unprecedented witch hunting to try to find crimes instead of investigating crimes. What crime is being investigated?

How is any of this going to help heal America? How is it going to end the divisions caused by Democrat identity politics of race warfare and class warfare and gender warfare?

13 states and DC have now changed their methods of appropriating electoral college votes for president because of Trump’s election. Those states have now pledged to cast all their electoral votes for the candidate who wins the majority of national popular votes instead of casting them for whom their state citizens voted for.

Those states just negated the votes of their state citizens. All of those states were won by Clinton in 2016. None are Trump states. What are they going to do if Trump wins the popular vote in 2020 so that those states must then cast their electoral votes for Trump even if the majority of citizens in those states vote for the Democrat? And what are they going to do if a Democrat might win the national majority of electoral college votes while losing the national popular vote? Democrats gained nothing by this. Lost a lot. Stupid.

Well, this gun fight gets even better. The Constitution is clear. Each branch of the Federal government (Executive, Supreme Court, and Congress) are separate entities … not accountable to each other. Democrats in the House are attempting to change that. They believe that they can order the president and/or his cabinet to provide information about the president that they can then use against the president.

Well cowboy, that just ain’t so. Overreach by Congress. Abuse of power. The president is under no obligation, nor his staff, to provide anything to Congress other than information to help Congress make legislation. Yes, Congress has oversight about tasks/results by different agencies, but not oversight about how the executive branch is managed, and certainly not oversight concerning personal information about the president.

Yes, presidents in the past have provided tax returns and other personal information to the general population … but that was done as courtesy, not as responding to a demand by Congress. Even Obama refused to provide personal information about his college applications and passports concerning his citizenship. Articles 1, 2, 3 are clear. Each branch has its “separate” set of authorities. Yes, Congress can impeach a president or a Supreme Court justice for “high crimes and misdemeanors” while in office… but the judiciary and the executive branch are not accountable to Congress about how they do their jobs or about their personal lives … they are 3 separate branches.

Think about this: who appointed Mueller? Not Congress because Congress had no authority to do so. Mueller was appointed by the Department of Justice that reports to the president. So if Mueller finds no collusion/conspiracy, then what allows Schiff or Waters or Nadler to investigate the same subject … or any other subject? Nothing. Trump does not report to them. Trump reports to we the people by the election process.

Yeah, many presidents of the past like W Bush capitulated to Congress. And what did W Bush get for obliging Congress? A bullet between his eyes. So do you think that Trump will capitulate … given how establishment Republicans and Democrats have been so outwardly down right hostile varmints to him?

My bet is no. Trump will not cower to them as W Bush did. Trump will face off against them in the streets, on the TVs, and in the courts all the way to the Supreme Court. He will call them out for gunfights in front of everyone. High noon, midnight, any time.

My bet is that when the dust clears, the Supreme Court will find in favor of Trump … that he is not accountable to Congress … nor is his staff … just as the Supreme Court found in favor of Trump for so many other cases like the travel ban, tariffs, and military transgenders.

My bet is that even the 3 liberal ma’am’s (Sotomeyer, Kagan, and Ginsberg) fear they will set a precedent that allows Republicans to do the same witch hunt to Democrat presidents in the future if Democrats are allowed to do this against Trump today.

So pardner, who will be lying in the middle of the dirt street from this showdown? Yep, it’ll be them low down yellow belly Democrats and establishment Republicans who disregarded the Constitution… riddled by bullets… dead … on their way to Boot Hill obscurity … as the legend of Donald Trump gets bigger than the legend about Wyatt Earp.
