Transgender Mania and HIV

The bureaucrats at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are torn between science and benevolence on one hand, progressive ideology on the other. Sometimes it seems for a moment as if science and benevolence could still get the upper hand, but then our hopes are dashed, as in a “Dear Colleague” letter released last week.

The letter admits that about one in seven (14%) “transgender women” (i.e., men pretending to be women) has HIV and that the percentage is much higher among blacks (44%) and Hispanics (26%).

Since most everyone seems to agree that the well-being of minorities is the paramount concern of society, the CDC’s observation naturally leads to the conclusion that we should rein in media-stoked transsexual mania, if only to prevent blacks from dying from AIDS, which is caused by HIV.

But then politics pulled from the opposite direction. From the letter, via Breitbart:

Many transgender people face obstacles that make it harder to access HIV services—such as stigma and discrimination, inadequate employment or housing, and limited access to welcoming, supportive health care. Addressing these barriers is essential to the health and well-being of transgender people…

That is, the policy is to double down on the moonbattery from which the problem arose.

It isn’t stigma that causes sexually aberrant degenerates to spread horrible diseases. Rather, it is the conspicuous absence of stigma.

Meanwhile, the UN’s World Health Organization, the globalist answer to the CDC, splashes gasoline on the fire by reclassifying being so nuts that you don’t know what sex you are as no longer a mental disorder, as has already been done with homosexuality. The stated intent is to “reduce stigma.”

The liberal establishment’s promotion of perversions associated with HIV is unlikely to decrease its prevalence.

Fortunately, there is an easier way to address this than trying to get social engineers to reverse course. We can simply make another edit to WHO’s International Classification of Diseases so that HIV is no longer a disease either.

Taken further, this approach could cure all known diseases. We could just redefine being healthy as a disease. The first step in this direction has already been taken with the concept of “toxic masculinity.”
